Australian saxophonist Amy Dickson has premiered Matthew Hindson's new Soprano Saxophone Concerto, a commission from the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. The 22-minute, three-movement work was launched in a concert in Hobart's Federation Concert Hall on 25 August, and was also broadcast on ABC Classic FM radio. Dickson and the TSO were conducted by Benjamin Northey. The broadcast can be heard online here for a limited period - starts 28:30.
