Already familiar to Boston audiences through his relationship with the Symphony Orchestra, Julian Anderson has been announced as the Composer-in-Residence for the 2018 Summer Institute for Contemporary Performance Practice at the New England Conservatory.
The Callithumpian Consort directed by Stephen Drury, will present no fewer than fifteen of Anderson’s chamber and ensemble works including Book of Hours, Seadrift, and String Quartet No. 2 “300 Weinachtslieder”.
