Anna Meredith has been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize, one of the most sought-after recorded music awards in the UK.

The nomination is in respect of her hugely impressive second album FIBS, which was released late last year on the Moshi Moshi label:
'FIBS is brimming with contrary combinations, irreverent genre-bending and serious innovation.'
The Guardian (Rachel Aroesti), 25 Oct 2019
'A thrilling testament to Meredith's seemingly limitless capacity for reinvention.'
Q Magazine (Rupert Howe), January 2020
The 12 nominations for the Mercury Prize were announced by Lauren Laverne on her BBC Radio 6 show on 23 July. Other nominees include Stormzy, Dua Lipa and Laura Marling.
