Ned Bigham is an eclectic composer whose career encompasses orchestral, chamber, choral and electronica. His 2017 album, Staffa, solidified his reputation as an artist whose tuneful music is accessible to a wide audience whilst having real compositional depth. The title piece, for orchestra and three large screens (created in collaboration with visual artist Gerry Fox), was premiered at the 70th Anniversary Celebration Concert of the Edinburgh International Festival in 2017, whilst also running as a three-screen installation at the National Library of Scotland.
