Corrente della Primavera takes its material from the 3rd movement of my Piano Concerto, written in 2001. It is extremely virtuosic piano music in a classical sense, extremely difficult to play. The first performance took place in Toronto in 2003, during the Soundstreams Festival, with Canadian pianist Simon Docking.
