Lloyd plays the timid youngest son of a sheriff. A crooked medicine show arrives in town and is used by the sheriff's enemies to cause riot and mayhem. It is left to the kid brother to save the day, and in so doing he wins the love of the girl he has rescued, and the respect of his father and brothers. The music of rural America is the source of Davis's inspiration for this delightful chamber score.
