Pierre-Gabriel Buffardin (1689-1768) was a French flautist who played in the Dresden court orchestra and was also an influential teacher. This Concerto for Flute, Strings and Basso Continuo in E minor is here presented for flute and piano. Two solo flute parts are included: the first reproduces the original text without any editorial additions, while the second offers a performance version with markings typical of Buffardin's day.
