I Himmelen ist ein einzigartiger Querschnitt durch das geistliche Repertoire Skandinaviens, ergänzt durch traditionelle Volksliedsätze. I Himmelen is a unique cross-section of Scandinavian sacred repertoire, complemented by traditional folk song settings. Many of the choral pieces included were translated specifically for this volume and are now available in German for the first time. The collection thus opens up the wealth of Nordic choral music and at the same time offers a welcome expansion of traditional church music in the German-speaking world.
