William Lawes’ Suite for two guitars (transcribed by Julian Bream), has all the hallmarks of his enthusiasm for the classical period and galant style.  Made up of 3 small movements, this short suite explores Lawes’s mature and idiomatic writing, maintaining the regularity and balance expected from the time.
